53 imagesToday was supposed to be official training for the downhill World Championships now that we'd moved to Sella Nevea in Italy for the speed events. Unfortunately the weather decided otherwise with high winds causing the closure of the gondola! At least the jury inspection and the athlete inspection of the course was able to take place and I was able to double check a couple of great photo-positions.

383 imagesToday was a big day! Two days squeezed into one - downhill training in the morning and downhill racing in the afternoon! Whilst it was hard going it also came as a great relief to everyone that there was some racing today!

484 imagesOn this, the last day of the World Championships, some clever management of the schedule allowed us to have a Super G competition and also a Super Combined. This resulted in all the disciplines being raced for a World Championship title. What an exciting day this turned out to be!
