The Festival de Fiertés is Le Mans' day of Pride. As well celebrating inclusivity we continue protesting against and calling out LGBTQIA+ phobia for what it is. Pride is a day for remembering hard won rights and, also, that the struggle for equality for all far from over. This year we were 6000 people to marche through the streets of Le Mans making our voices heard. All the more significant given that our day of protest landed the day before France returned to the polling stations in the second round of the legislatives. One can only hope that voters see sense and block the rise of France's national front party - the RN.
